About Infront Finland (English)


Infront Finland is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infront Sports & Media AG. It is involved in many of the major sports and culture events in Finland. Its partnerships with the national federations of ice hockey, football, skiing and athletics complement Infront's international involvement in these sports.

Infront Finland has extensive experience in event organisation, marketing and consulting. The company has had and will have a pivotal role in numerous World and European Championships as well as the World Cup competitions held in Finland. The new fields of business inside Infront Finland are hospitality services and retailed exclusive services.

Infront Finland's rights complements Infront's Global portfolio

Infront Finland owns important rights to the local FIS World Cup events in Alpine skiing, freestyle, cross country, nordiic combined and skijumping. It also consults the Finnish Olympic Committee and national federations of ice hockey, football and athletics about sponsorships.  

 


Infront Finland is the main organizer of an annual Sports Gala, that awards the best athletes and also the important people working in the grass root level in sport. The Gala gathers people from sport, culture, politics and business life together to celebrate the finish sport. Infront Finland also promotes an important local event - the LET Finnair Masters in Golf. It is also active in culture and represents the Mannerheim -movie and the European Capital of Culture Turku 2011.

 

Infront Finland has a respectful track record in event organizing and marketing. It has been involved in the following major events held in Finland: World Championships in figure skating 1999, nordic skiing 2001, ice hockey 2003, athletics 2005 and European Championships in swimming 2000 and figure skating 2009. Infront Finland also had a role in the Eurovision song contest held in Helsinki 2007.
